Note: I later found out that just putting a seed under the first layer of rocks is nearly as affective as starting the seeds in rockwool. It is certainly easier and cheaper too. There may be some seeds that require rockwool to work in a hydro system that has rocks for a base - but I haven't found any.

Note: I just changed web hosting providers and some pictures didn't make the transition. I plan on working on this in the first week of December.

Note: I recently switched hosting companies - and the transfer lost a few pictures. Hopefully I still have them... will repost shortly if I do.

I didn't buy a new keyboard... I just changed the keyboard layout in my operating system (MS-XP at work and Linux at home). So my keyboard is identical to yours, but typing the homerow yields "aoeuidhtns" as opposed to "asdfghjkl;".

As an aside - after about one month of using only Dvorak I am now proficient at it (40-50 wpm), but I am have really degraded as a QWERTY typer. It can be quite embarrassing to take over a keyboard in a social (work) setting and have to type at like 15 wpm. Maybe I should put in a bit of practice on Qwerty so that I don't totally lose it.

Incidentally though - my fingers were starting to feel quite arthritic when typing before. Dvorak is really a lot easier on the joints - which is reason enough for me to switch.
